Chouchou

Late one night I began to explore the Secondlife Destination Guide. I found a couple neat spots, but nothing I've ever seen on SL could prepare me for Chouchou. It's much more than a "desination" or "sim" or whatever you want to call it. It's an experience. It is art.

The first picture I took of Chouchou took a lot out of me. That's what I saw when I entered. I sat in complete amazement for about 5 minutes, just taking it in. If I remember correctly, I cried just a little. I stood there for awhile, just looking. I didn't take a lot of pictures at this point because I was in awe. I used no windlight settings or water. This is the default.

Chouchou also has a hud that makes it appear widescreen and makes movement different. I enjoyed watching that for a while. I recommend using the hud if you're going to walk, but not for photography.

Did I mention the music is BEAUTIFUL? I still need to buy the music. It's so amazing.

Well, I did finally muster up the courage to walk to that piano. Not a great photo, but it shows the detail. It is an interactive piano. I clicked on it a few times, but I felt I was ruining the already beautiful music.

That ladder, I discovered later, is a teleport to an amazing place..

A beautiful model I spotted...

I was approached by a man, and we both agreed that this place was heavenly. He then showed me another part of Chouchou (THERES MORE?) and I do believe I cried a little again when we arrived at the next spot.

I'm getting goosbumps just writing this blog post. I'm going back to Chouchou after I'm finished writing this.

The nice man who brought me here (cannot remember his name :C )

So, after a small tour of this beautiful spot, he said there was another. Which has become my favorite spot to go to now.

This cathedral is one of the most intricate and most beautiful builds I have ever seen. I can only imagine the time it took to build it.

Is that? Oh yes it is.

The most heavenly piano in SL. The particles and lighting effects were so perfect here.

Chouchou really speaks for itself. It is beauty. Go there if you love beauty.
